Good to see the chargers win |
The Chargers didn't win, the Colts handed them the game on a silver platter. After the 5th or 6th time they finally decided to take it. How a professional football team commits three straight penalties on an opponent's overtime drive is beyond me. Stupid ing Colts, I'm pissed. :whip: |

lol, just like the last 3 outta the 4 times they played in Qualcommm. Colts did lose that game tho, cause they know of all things is that they never catch a break in San Diego. So if they want to win, they have to play better second half football. I thought if Colts win here, they go all the way to Superbowl. But thanks for the opportunity anyhow Indy! |

| The NFL's overtime rules are about on par with the sheer stupidity and nonsense as the BCS, but probably even higher. I can't remember the last NFL game I watched that went into overtime where the team that won the coin flip didn't win on their first drive. Watched the whole second half to see the chargers win the toss and then pretty much gave up hope. Honestly, what the 's the reasoning for it? Sudden death is exciting in games where there aren't formal possessions like soccer, quick steal and momentum swings. But , two moderate sized plays, then take a knee towards the middle of the field and kick a field goal on 2nd down, booooooooring and anticlimactic as . |

Amen. They should really just go the same route as the NCAA does for overtime - though it's difficult for me to say anyone should do anything remotely similar to how the NCAA handles football. :haha:
