Ok well i ordered a midi adapter from creative, too hook up my Roland Rs-5 to my comp, ( http://www.americas.creative.com/pr....asp?product=77 ) and i want to know if im doing it right. Their is two ends to the midi cable, one is "in" and the other is "out" i put those in the back of the keyboard, but at the other end of the keyboard is the joystick tip, one is the one with the pins, and the other is a joystick adapter without the pins, it just has wholes to insert pins, now i figured i should just use the pin one, and put it in the joystick port on my soundacard, but the othher joystick head hangs out with no use, i duno what the hell its for, or if im doing it wrong. I tryed to use cakewalk a lil, its kinda confusing, so if someone could help me i would appreciate it. |

the other, loose, one is, surprisingly, for hooking up a joystick to your PC without having to unplug all the midi stuff |
