One of my favorite go go dancers and I are working on getting a dinner together with Ronski. Anyone gone to the Brickhouse cafe & bar on Brannan between 3rd & 4th? Was told Ronski likes wings and ribs. Any other suggestions?

IMO Brickhouse is kind of generic and bland (used to work right down the street and did tons of lunches there out of convenience). If it's BBQ, then there is Big Nate's BBQ further south on folsom. great ribs. kind of expensive, and not too good for a meet-up. there's also good ribs and soul food at Hard Knox Cafe over on 3rd street.

Ya went to Nate's before, really good but small :whip:

Hard Knox Cafe looked far but checking the map again, it really isn't. I'll tell K about it. Thanks :)

thinking about how big of a crowd we are when we do gordon biersch, hard knox is also probably too small :( mmmmmmm, getting hungry...

There is no real good place for wings anywhere near SOMA. There's Hooters up by Pier 39 which has breaded and traditional wings, with some good tasting, unique sauces...though none of them are truly hot IMO, hehe. For tranditional deep-fried wings with your basic buffalo wings/hot sauce, theres's Original Buffalo Wings on Lombard and Buffalo Burger on Geary & 17th Ave (which actually has a similar logo and pretty much the same menu was OBW).

Hot Wings are my favorite food....have tried them at pretty much every place I've come across in the city. Sure I haven't been to them all though.

And anywhere that bakes wings (like most pizza places) should be shut down, IMO. :)

yeah, another good spot. practically any place in the city will be less than 15 minutes away from the club, but i know distance (and maybe parking) seems to be a concern, in which case extreme pizza is right there across the street, has wings (probably mediocre), and can easily host us (and maybe someone can just sneak in some ribs for ronski)
