anybody else excited about this rematch?
Georges St-Pierre defending his title against BJ Penn. A much anticipated fight...
A few weeks ago GSP was voted Sportnet's Canadian athlete of the year. That's pretty cool, nice to see MMA getting proper recognition!

| I think GSP will take this one.. his ground game is relentless now but it should be a war in any case. |

Some people keep saying that GSP is overated and that he is nothing but a world class wrestler...which allows him to control the fights, but that he really isn't much of a good ground and pounder and could not KO anyone with his striking skills because he is not strong enough (see Fitch fight). I hope Georges shut those people's mouth and proves to the world that he is the best P4P MMA fighter (although that concept isn't really real...it's just for fun).
Freak I agree with you the last card was amazing. Jackson knocking out Silva was priceless!! |

Yeah, last card ended in all stoppages in favour of the "underdogs". I hope Mir kills Lesnar.
big chunk of being a good g-n-p is the wrestling ability. GSP can strike effectively enough with his elbows. His boxing will come around but he is solid in all the other facets, core strength is world class and flexibility is insane too. |
