he was coming up to ppl reading random inserts and also asking people to sign it for him lol
everyone on the patio was calling him sketch so he comes up to my friend sits by her and is all like umm excuse me can you tell me what sketch means? So my friend tells him that a sketchy person is someone who does lot of drugs and acts weird/funny/abnormal... so the guy jumps up and goes what drugs i don't do drugs! lol... guess he though cz was a real church so he brought his bible for sunday mass hahah |

hahaha i have so many stories from Guv where i was the sketchbag. Here's 2...
* the first time i stumbled across Donald Glaude was hilarious. I had no idea who he was..and he was playing in the Orange Room. So i was stumbling through the orange room trying to make my way back to the main room, and i stopped because the DJ (Donald) was f'n on fire. OK...so it's 7am, plus being f'd, plus a he's a dark skinned DJ in the dark..which made for trippy tricks on my eyes. I seriously didn't realize that he was black! i thought he was wearing a HAIRY APE MASK. But it was actually just his face....with his dreads. lmao
* One time i randomly lost my memory. And even though i'd been going to Guv for years, i couldn't for the life of me remember how to get around that place, or where the exits were. I had to literally text my friends to come get me, where i was just sitting by myself in Guv being a space cadet...confused out of my tree.
i love guv nights and i love this thread. |

* one of the first nites i went to film i wasnt ready to call it a nite when it closed so i assumed i knew where zone was ( i didnt) so i walked the wrong way, got totally spooked by a pigeon and fell halfway done one of the subway holes in the ground
*This summer at zone i started talking to some guy and he mentioned it was his first time there, we chatted a while longer about randomness then i left. the next weekend i see him again so i sit by him and he again tells me its his first time there. i insist we met last week and he says impossible. 2 weeks later the same thing happens.SO the 4th time i saw him i was with a few other people and i told them "watch this, his name is tim, hes a carpenter from hamilton and its his first time here" sure enough it was AGAIN his first time there |

Telling Glaude that next time I see him.
I have too many to count but I will start at the one time in the Kool Haus, cant remember the exact event. Ferry was on the decks so I decided to stay in the Guv for whatever reason. Danced my ass off till 8am, came out and coat check was outside? Thought that was wierd and had found out they shut down the KH? Later found out some guy got into the back, locked himself in Charles' office, when they tried to get in he got up into venting system. Apperently he got into the roof of the KH and was swinging from the chains above.
I was like whoa!!! Then I found out he was one of teh guys who came in our group :eek:
Funny thing was I didnt own a cell phone at the time and had no idea my friends had left already because they were in KH, and me being in my state, wandered off by myself which I always do, danced the rest of teh night away on the dance floor and came out oblivios to the whole situation that had gone on.
Jennypie and spitty should remember this night lol. |

I was there too. Wasn't this the Deep Dish Global Underground Toronto CD Release party?
My sketchy story about that night is how instead of going to the Guv to hear Luke Fair, Desyn Masiello and then Deep Dish for 8 hours (which I later heard was one of the best parties of all time), I spent the entire night in the Kool Haus listening to Mauro Picotto. :sadgreen: |
