Not sure what the point in the placebo track is, but then i'm no fan of theirs.:p
Apart from that I really enjoyed this mix.
good work |

In. The tracklist in this one looks miles better than in your first one. |
Agreed. Really looks like you put a lot more thought into this one, enydo, and I'm looking forward to seeing how it pans out.
Your first effort was good for a first effort, now I'm glad to see it looks like you're digging a little deeper and trying to be a bit more thoughtful about the whole process.

Was more or less a personal thing really, I know it doesn't fit well but that song means a lot to me, as lame as that sounds. :p
Thanks a lot for the kind words, I really appreciate it. |

| Much better than your last set. The only weak parts were the beginning and ending for me (not that I didn't like the Placebo track it just didn't flow into anything and the first actual mix was a bit wonky but oh well). Other than that, nice tunes to be heard. Keep it up. |

Yeah, looking back I shouldn't have included the Placebo track, oh well. :(
That first transition was really hard to work out haha. Thanks for listenin, Adam. |

I really enjoyed this. I agree that using that Placebo track was a bit silly, though I'm glad you put it there and not in the middle so it could be skipped.
I didn't have any issues with the mixing, it seemed pretty smooth, though a few at the very end were a bit rough.
In terms of flow, the first half felt a little bit slow, but once you hit around the twenty-five minute mark, I really started to get into this. I liked the track with the repeating arps almost bang on thirty minutes. I think the track selection in the second half was a lot more interesting too, though there wasn't a song I actually disliked in the whole thing (except Placebo). That Extrawelt track is nice too, I'm glad I listened if for no other reason than just to discover this!
Regarding the genre, I'm not well versed on this kind of music, but it's definitely not tech-house. I'm keen to know what more knowledgeable people would call it. In the first half it could be called ambient or dub techno perhaps? Some of it is was very melodic and atmospheric.
Great work, look forward to the next one. For some reason, the title of this mix seems amazingly appropriate. I'm not sure why, I think maybe it's the airy, desolate feel of some of the tracks, making them give off the same vibe as the picture you've used? |

I think that was the kind of vibe I was going for, so I'm glad it kind of came off like that. I'm really drawn to the "darker" stuff in edm; the moody, atmospheric, deeper stuff even.
That track in the middle with the repeating pattern was probably Aural Distortion - Fragmented. I found that track while digging around Tsuba's back catalog and fell in love with it instantly, love that riff. I also just labeled the mix as Tech House / Techno because that's what this stuff was labeled on Beatport (as if that matters), and I'm not really a fan of lumping genres anyways.
I'm really considering just cutting the Placebo track out and reuploading it haha. I recorded this when I was pretty baked so I'm not really sure what I was thinking with that one, just probably going to be an annoyance to everyone else. :p |

| I was surprised not to find Matthew Dear's "Dog Days" in the track list. I'll upload this to the MP3 player and take it to the gym later:) |
