Agreed.
I in no way discredit the fact that it was a horrible event. But I am more looking at it in the sense that it may have been over exaggerated and not looked into enough with respect to possible over exaggerations.
I do truly believe that something did happen and many people lost their lives. All I am wondering is, is there still more to discover? |

In many countries unfortunately, the Holocaust is never mentioned and that it never existed. This alt is probably from one of those countries. He wants to make a point because we're all ill-informed.
Ban and delete this moron and thread. |

No, there isn't. You see, real historians operate on a principle called the convergence of evidence, whereby when the majority of facts collected from a majority of disparate sources in different disciplines all tell the same story, the story is generally assumed to be true. What they don't do is assume that any little unexplained anomaly somehow invalidates the entire narrative.
The evidence is never perfect and never can be. It's good enough. We're not interested in your flimsy revisionist history.
P.S. The phrase "over exaggeration" is redundant. |

Ok. I'm not out right asking was it real or not. I'm asking do you think that it is truly what people make it out to be?
ie. 6 million
I am just curious to hear what people think are some misconceptions since there are many scientific studies out there proving certain things.
So how about all of you calm to down. |

In no way am i meaning to disrespect anyone here.
While yes my original post, now deleted, wasn't exactly soft and because of that i apologize.
I am only curious as to people's opinions on the holocaust and to hear possible studies that people have read about on it.
That is all.
So calm down and simply discuss. |

Really are you kidding me ? its called the Holocaust
holocaust |ˈhäləˌkôst; ˈhōlə-|
noun
1 destruction or slaughter on a mass scale, esp. caused by fire or nuclear war : a nuclear holocaust | the threat of imminent holocaust.
The detention of the word alone should tell you how horrible the event was.
its not a conspiracy its actual fact ... and in all honesty you want to know why your an idiot devote 9.5 hours of your life and watch SHOAH
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0090015/
after that im sure you can GTFO and stick your head in a hole far away from here
The only other person i have ever known to ask this question on the first day of class was mocked and laughed out, and while watching this movie eventually broke down into tears with the vast majority of us and changed his beliefs of this event realizing how big of a douche he was... so cheers hope it helps
