Old music you no longer like.

Can you bear to delete it from your hard drive, or do you leave it hanging around in case you ever like it again or need it for some reason?

I'm currently going through the collection and hiding everything I don't like, hoping that one day I'll have the cahones to delete it.

Illegal downloaders not welcome in this discussion.

If I bought it, chances are I will always like it. I may not love it, but I will always like it.

Most of the old music i have is not on a hard drive. I ended up giving those records to my young cousin to practice mixing with. He is 14 and i gave him my first set of technics before christmas....he doesn't ing like the records either lol.

I threw my first ever CD a few years ago.

Sing Up For The Champions!
The Official 1997 Manchester United single released by Reds United which was basically loads of United terrace chants sang over a cheesy dance track with clean lyrics ("Roy Keane, He's a demon, He wear's a demon's hat!"). Some how reached Number 12 in the UK the charts (Dec 1997)

A bunch of my old generic eurodance CDs met an unfortunate end inside a microwave one drunken evening with some buddies of mine. I also had to pawn off a bunch of other CDs when I was an unemployed broke-ass so I could buy food, although I saved some of my favorite cuts from them on my computer and made burns later. Aside from that...

I dare not throw music out or delete music incase I ever feel the need to listen to it again, some songs can be forgotten that remind you of times you loved in the past.

I routinely clean up my music collection, delete old mp3s (though I rarely ever buy mp3s anymore), and throw away/resell old CDs. Some stuff you just don't know you'll get bored of when you buy it.

Usually about 50% of the CDs I buy I end up keeping and get rid of the rest.
