Sup guys. I've been making techno for over 10 yrs now. Can you tell me what you think of this track? I actually just started working on it tonight (what I put up there I created in only an hour tonight). I know it sounds a bit distorted, but other than that what do you think? It's not finished yet.

I like the track. It's got an edge I hope you manage to keep in the final version. The last part, with the lead, could be developed a bit more. It gets a touch repetitive. I like the end.
The mix sounds very compressed - there's not a whole lot of space or distinction and it sounds muddy. The lead sounds a little off, in parts. The overall distortion kind of messes it up. A little goes a long way, if that's what your intent is, but it definitely comprises part of that edge I was referring to, earlier.
I like it. I hope you'll keep working on it. |

Yea I just started working on it, lol. Believe it or not, the whole thing was done on the fly...all the mutes, filter sweeps and everything....I only have two parts, well three, to the song pretty much now, so that's why it sounds repetitive.
I'll work on the lead. As far as the compression goes, it is compressed. I thru the whole thing in my computer from a mixer, then compressed the track, to bring the volume up. I have weak mastering type skills...It's not final by any means tho, and I realize that it sounds really muddy now, and the lead sound needs to come down a notch as well as be adjusted in a couple of parts.
