Heard Gareth was real good too.

Heard is was packed.

I was suppsoed to go to LA this week and go to that, but I'm hella sick so decided not to fly down and will next weekend.

it was really awesome to meet some new tas and see some old faces. zencu was an awesome place to eat really cheap and great food. Gareth Emery tore up the roof as always except for when he played Marco V - Coma Aid and just stopped random. marcus played pretty upbeat stuff. my fav part of the night was when he played more than anything. i will post tracklist in an hour or so or what i have of it.

Peace
PS. We should do this more often.

Last night was definitely a night to remember. I had a great time from start to finish!!

Thanks for organizing the TA meet at Zencu Jon. Not bad with those $1.75 beer specials. That was a lot of fun! We really should do those more often.

Gareth absolutely killed the place. That guy in rocks and delivered one of the best sets I've heard in a while!! It was incredible when he dropped Off the World and Vampire. That guy has some talent for sure!!

Markus did a really good job as well. Better than the last couple times I saw him anyways!!

Kinda had a problem trying to bring my insulin in to the club for my diabetes though. Those guys at the door are s and told me to take it back to my car. I swear one night I'm gonna die at one of these clubs and these ******s are gonna be held liable. lol. Sry. Just had to blow off a lil steam.

Excellent night though!!! Can't wait for the next one!!

Haha, his new airplane move was fun, although in pictures it does look pretty wacky (especially when he doesn't smile doing it) so I had to delete those :)

It wasnt very packed, compared to how it normally is there. I could move around, unlike when Bank & Jones were there, and then bob sinclar (the last two times I have been to vanguard).

Parking is still $20 but I didnt care this time since I got my ticket for $10

Anyways, the TA meet went really well (except that Zencu is hard to find). Gareth emailed me a few minutes before 8 saying he wouldn't be able to make it, and markus also couldn't show up, but it was still a lot of fun. I'll make sure to do them more often, and next time I'll post directions to the correct parking structure.

I tried to arrange for a big Rukes picture right after Gareth's set, and tried to text everyone's number that I had, but it didnt work out too well. There were a few TAs, and I got Gareth to come down (he recognized me) and I can't remember who took what pictures, but Rukes took a couple (there werent many TAs there though :( )

After that I chatted with gareth and showed him around the club and then he let me go on stage and my expression was probably  like it always is when I get to do that. For most of markus set I was up there just chatting with gareth, which was fun. :)

I've never stayed at vanguard until they close (I always get too tired/it gets too hot in there/too many people), so I was pretty surprised when at 4am the club was still packed.
I was actually standing under some huge air vent/fan that kept everything cooled off, so I don't know if thats a new thing or I just never noticed it.

I enjoyed Gareth's set more than when he was at ruby skye (at ruby skye, even with earplugs my ears were hurting), and I can't remember far enough back to compare it with his Lovefest 2007 set.

If you look at Ruke's pictures it seems like fewer and fewer people hold up their cameras/cell phones.

I remember that, I was standing next to gareth and his reaction was pretty funny, but I don't remember exactly what he did. :-/

edit: 20 TAs showed up to the meet

Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember Gareth playing More Than Anything. I remember singing along to his remix of Martin Roth's Off The World. Which does sound similar to More Than Anything.
