I was telling Jeff earlier today that I'm really looking forward to the sets from all the DJ's... Umar's first time at FW, James Teej is on fire right now, Jeff peak time slot (rather than opener) and Jamie Kidd is one of my favourite dj's in the city... |

...I was going to wait till Feb 7th to make my footy return...
...but I've wanted to check out Teej for a while now, and its nice to see Jeff with a primetime slot, as Jon Jon said. Looks like its footy on saturday for me!

Footwork has really been upping the ante with cutting-edge techno headliners in the last year, so the I think the atmosphere has been set for a new techno night like this. After constantly hearing the sound of headliners from other countries, it will be interesting to hear what kind of sound has developed domestically at what I believe to be Toronto's best techno spot. The DJs on the bill compliment each other in such a way, that I think the stage is set for the music of the night to progress through the full spectrum of techno.
I, for one, am certainly looking forward to Saturday night. |
