Friday March 27 2009 DAYTIME- CHEAP SUNGLASSES 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY @ Electric Pickle, 2826 N.Miami Ave, Miami - 14 HOUR PARTY
10AM - MIDNIGHT
Cheap Sunglasses started in Miami as a concept outdoor party, but has quickly blossomed into so much more. The Cheap Sunglasses head honchos Taimur Agha Blk|market Membership, “Crazy” Larry Ursini Uddermadness and Memo Erkaya Bar13, have over 200 events, all told and totaled, and celebrate a year together with the WMC ‘09. After a long run of highly successful Cheap Sunglasses events all over the U.S., the duo are ready to celebrate a year of co-promoting events with a no holds barred tandem of events. Slated for this year is a Friday daytime event, running 10AM until Midnight, with an exclusive cast of characters. This year will also mark Cheap Sunglasses first label showcase, promoting one of the top European labels out there,Moon Harbour. Representing exclusively for Moon Harbour will be the DC 10 resident Matthias Tanzmannand hot new DJ duo and Producers Luna City Express. Couple that with the mighty Craig Richards of Fabric fame and Tobias Becker, Germany's hardest working DJ, playing only for Cheap Sunglasses, that’s an incredible recipe for success. Don't forget Berlin's first Lady of Techno, Cassy, who will also be manning the decks for a sunset slot not soon to forget.

Friday March 27 2009 NIGHT - BLK|MARKET MEMBERSHIP & RESIDENT ADVISOR present SECRETSUNDAZE WMC
10PM-6AM

Secretsundaze are very proud to announce the details of our first event at the world's largest Dance Music Conference, Miami WMC 09. Teaming up with our friends Blk|Market Membership & Resident Advisor, we're gonna be throwing an intimate party, a must check prospect for Deep House & Techno heads and party people alike, visiting Miami over the conference period.
In keeping with the secretsundaze philosophy, we're shunning the main clubs in favour of more of an off-location venue, in Ecco – a recently opened downtown Pizza parlour with a suitable second space used for parties and events.
Headlining proceedings we welcome our good friend from Innervisions, Dixon. Having played for us several times in the past, we knew he was a man we could trust. He is a very respected DJ, producer (with George Levin as Wahoo) and his Berlin based imprint is synonymous with quality and focussed underground House. Apart from an Innervisions showcase party, we were thrilled that Dixon chose secretsundaze as his only other date at WMC 09.
We also welcome back another firm favourite in Keith Worthy – as our biggest surprise guest of secretsundaze 2008, and having rocked with us at Panorama Bar in Berlin, he again was a first choice. Famed for his uber-deep and silky productions on his Aesthetic Audio, alongside the likes of Patrice Scott, Keith is part of the much heralded new-wave / 3rd generation of producers emerging from Detroit.
Of course, our own fire-starters and residents Giles Smith & James Priestley will be on hand to warm-things up and round things off in the way only they know how, as they both make their Miami WMC debut. At the time of press, this is the only date you can catch both these two on the same bill over conference. Also in support is Blk|Market Membership's resident, Fahad.
Over the last few years, secretsundaze has established itself as a party organisation to be reckoned with, not just in it's birthplace of London, but having consistently thrown parties at Sonar over the last 4 years, as well as Ibiza and Berlin amongst many others, internationally too. For anyone who has followed us internationally in the past, or for those new to the game, our first, and likely to be first of many parties at WMC is an exciting prospect.
Blk|Market Membership were the first promoters to host a secretsundaze party in US. Holding a monthly residency at NYC's hottest club, the Joe Clausell affiliated Love club, they were the obvious stateside partners to work with.
Resident Advisor as you all know, has established itself as the online Electronic Music resource site and again, having worked with them in the past, was an obvious and first media partner choice.
Line up:
Dixon (Innervisions, Berlin)
Charles Webster (Presence, UK)
Keith Worthy (Aesthetic Audio, Detroit)
Giles Smith (secretsundaze / Dessous, London)
James Priestley (secretsundaze / Simple, London)
Fahad (Blk|Market Membership, New York)

Sunday School For Degenerates is readying itself for a marathon session of massive proportions. Sunday School tickets will be valid for the full 24 hours and include a re-entry wristband. Get the party started right: Come by early to pick up your wristband and have a Degenerate drink on the house during the early OPEN BAR (11pm-12am) and be sure to catch the exclusive live set from Detroit’s new breed Ryan Crosson with his percussive programming, dubby basslines, and dark atmospheres. The Ice Palace is located close to the nightclub district, so you can make the rounds. Or, like a true Degenerate, stay for the duration as class will be in session all night and day, with a line-up that is sure to school you.
NEW ARTISTS & EXCLUSIVES
NYC’s techno femme fatale DJ Connie leads off the night, followed by Ryan Crosson’s exclusive live set and Poker Flat artist Argy, for his long-awaited U.S. debut after last year’s visa snafu. Then, Turkey’s first real techno export Onur Özer will play his exclusive Miami set for another U.S. debut! Özer’s talents have made him one of the most critically acclaimed names in electronic music rising out of the most oriental parts of Europe. Germany’s Martin Buttrich returns with his midas touch for another explosive live set replete with his own golden productions. On the eve of his stunning CD kaleidoscope Balance 014, Joris Voorn joins the fray with his exclusive Miami performance. The future of DJing may lie in Voorn’s ability to simultaneously mix multiple tracks at once into entirely new soundscapes. Finally, Sunday School favorite Cassy returns for another indelible set to celebrate the final hours of degeneracy.
ABOUT ICE PALACE
Both the indoor and outdoor spaces will feature a complete sound system installed and engineered by Integral Sound, now tantamount with the highest quality. At night, the lobby will be transformed into the Degenerates den with a wood beam ceiling encasing a wonderfully warm sound with an adjacent open-air terrace. In the early morning, the 30,000 square foot Ice Palace lawn will be a green grass playground with seating, hammocks, a coconut tree vista, and plenty of shade. There will be a full bar available for the entire 24 hours, along with food available for purchase, including vegetarian options. Get ready for the one party to rule them all!
