New DJ - Need to know places to get vinyl

OK, so I live in the States and i need to know some online sources to get some vinyl. I would prefer not to pay the outrageous fees that places like www.juno/co.uk charges to ship things to me. They have a huge selection, but their shipping fees are out of this world. So, if ANYONE on here knows of some online places in the states, such as www.dancerecords.com or www.groovetech.com I would appreciate it. Thanks, ~*Drew*~
EDIT: By the way, I am wanting to spin trance, Corsten/Tiesto style...but I'm into progressive, etc too....so yeah...thankd again! |

Shipping at Juno is not that high. Figure this - if you live in the States, it's probably safe to say that you pay about $8.99-$11 per record from your local shop, plus tax. Juno lists most of their selections at $4.45GBP - do the math and it equates to about $6.50USD, depending on market value. Now you're slightly below the US margin. When you add in the shipping charges, your record goes up to the same price you're paying as your local shop - higher if you use the FedEx option, but only by $2. On top of that, you're not paying the VAT, so you wind up getting a better selection of records at a more upfront time as opposed to US retailers. I've figured out the shipping charges/math a billion times and it always evens out no matter what.
I think the best US online retailers are Satellite and Global Beats. Both places charge $9.99-$10.99 per record, but they often go out of stock quickly. Shipping charges from US retailers are moderate, but they're also slow compared to the FedEx option that Juno offers. That's specifically why I order from Juno, I'm willing to spend that extra $1 to have my records at my doorstep in 2 days versus a week-plus thanks to the USPS and their ultra-slow pace. |

juno's shipping isn't great but as mentioned before, their prices on 12" is way lesser than most other places so it all balances out. some people think chemical is the cheapest to buy but its not always the case either. their shipping may be cheaper but the prices on 12" is slightly higher compared to juno. at the end of the day its all the same. |

| man....the best site as for as trance music is concerned imo is planetxusa.com....you can search by genre and their epic section puts out new stuff all the time...check this site out!!!!! |

dude, you *gotta* check out bigbangrecords.com. the selection is pretty good, not all that recent though.. but get this, all thair records are 50% off!!!!!! i ordered about 50 records already.., for prices from $3-$5, hellz yeah!
(no, i don't work for them, i just think you guys should take advantage of this, as it was only supposed to be an april sale, but prices are still 50% off) |

OK, you sir are the IN MAN!!!!!!!!!!! This site is the utter . i have come across ONE....count them...ONE in record that they DON'T have that I want, and that's just b/c they didn't have the mix I wanted.
