"We Want Your Soul" is a track Freeland did. You can have a listen to his tunes at beatport or adamfreeland.com (I'm sure that's his website. If not, well, I suck).

and buy your presale now since its only $10. It will be $20+ in february. Maybe I should invest in purchasing tickets to Vanguard when they first come out, and then showing up the night of the event and selling them for $20 = 100% profit, who needs the stock market.

move over warren buffet, 1 day later after my above post, tickets are now $15, a 50% gain.
I forecast another gain in the next week.:D

Well biggest name in the world for breaks in the late 90's :) He played breaks until 2005, where he swiched to electro house (or Nu Electro by Beatport's naming scheme), which is why he plays at a lot of hipster events and is paired with Aoki unfortunately...

Well...unfortunaltely no big names have really played breaks since about 2004. Everyone did for about 1.5 years before that. That was when even Bedrock had "Bedrock Breaks" and Hyper and Meat Katie blew up. Freeland was still at the top during that time...as far as breaks were concerned. They fell out of the main stream completely and pretty rapidly. Don't you remember Drew? Around when we first met and Hybrid were Giant residents at Avalon. All of a sudden Hybrid just wasn't playing breaks anymore. Too bad...I thought it was a nice direction for EDM. Freeland still plays plenty though. When he played with TCM last year touring for his GU album he spun almost all breaks. Then the next time he was pared with LA Riots. Adam is one of the big EDM names to join the Windish label. You're going to see a lot of good EDM djs pared with hipster djs and live acts over the next couple of years because of the Windish agency. Windish has great great talent on their roster, but I'll take breaks over the hipster any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

maybe...sometimes the GL is $20, or $25...depends on those presales. If they sell them all, why offer a guestlist at all?

inside sources.

he's playing Heat/Spin/Vanguard for Giant that weekend.

and i've been told the Feb 11th gig at the Playhouse is not 100% confirmed yet as the venue may not be ready to open that date (their official grand opening is Feb 14th or 15th).
