Another great installment tonight of THE BASEMENT. 7-10pm on Beatfreaksradio.com.
Tonight we feature two of LA's hottest female DJ's.
First up... Audrey Napolean. You've seen Audrey rock the house at such venues in LA as Josephs, Jimmy's Lounge, Circus and many more. In fact she and another rockin' lady Shoddy Lynn have just started a weekly event here in LA located at Bar Lubitcsh in West Hollywood. Tune in to hear her flavor and get taste of what you can expect on Sunday Nights in Hollywood.
Next.... DJ LOLI. One night after noticing the stunning Los Angeles weather on a rerun episode of the sitcom JOE (Friends spin-off), Loli decided to pack and move the next day. A few weeks later she received an offer for a DJ residency from John Lions at Avalon nightclub. Since then she has toured the United States with Tommy Lee, DJ Aero, and Maxim Magazine. Upon meeting Tommy Lee he invited her to go on tour together with him at the hottest clubs all over the US. While on tour Loli lived an extravagant lifestyle, but when returning to Los Angeles, after flying on private jets and staying at the countries top hotels, Loli found herself homeless and broke. After living in her broken down car for months Loli persevered as a DJ and finally made her name known through her residency at the trendy club Avalon, and her fan-base soon followed. Loli has also shared the main stage with Axwell, Erick Morillo, Josh Wink, DJ Sasha, Bad Boy Bill, Sandra Collins and Trentemoller to name a few.
When Loli is not touring the US she continues to perform around the world in countries such as Russia, Mexico, South Korea, Ukraine and Indonesia to name a few. Loli has performed at mega clubs including PURE in Las Vegas, San Francisco’s Ruby Skye, Supper Club and Hollywood’s infamous Club Avalon. Coming off a stellar 2006 with a residency at Avalon and Spider After Dark, Loli appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Las Vegas Weekly, Racket Magazine, and Saturday Night Magazine. Currently producing her first single, Loli’s 2008 projects already include DJ Mag (Ukraine), and an 8 page spread in Maxim Magazine (Indonesia) and two features (Music Maven and A Promise Kept: DJ Loli on Maxim.com's Girl-on-Film. DJ Loli has also appeared on Sirius Radio including Sirius's Maxim radio. And currently has a top ten list on Beatport.com.
