not a fan of wine much. gives me giant headaches even after a glass. although, i do enjoy a nice glass of wine while i'm at Olive Garden. something about Italian food and wine that just goes so good together. usually order some nice white wine. can't remember what it's called cause i can't even remember when i last had Olive Garden.

Holy man... dat der is funny, I don't care who yar.

but yea, if u guys wanna be wine snobs on a budget then yall should check out

Cheapwinecritics.com

A friend of mine who is kinda like an alcoholic has tried pretty a ton of cheap wine and gave em detailed reviews (prices and locations in the states where he bought em r included too). Some reviews are pretty funny. He mentioned something about getting nightmares after trying this chilean wine with dark tangents. Hilarious.

been aging a bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape since 2000.

Beautiful deep crimson color, powerful and complex bouquets with lots of spices and ripe fruits. Rich, full-bodied, beefy, with soft tannins. A long finish recalling cinnamon and ripe plums. Give it a try.

Spec's: $29

Had a Felton Road 2006 Pinot Noir (NZ) last night to pair with osso buco. Delicate but quite complex platter, light on its feet, several subtle fruit notes (at least cherries). Recommended. $34 at Costco, Wine Advocate gave it a 92.

so, apparently, wine people are giving more respect to the "box" lately. apparently the bag used in boxed wine keeps the wine fresh for longer since it collapses on itself and doesn't let air in.

is this going to be a new trend with the more expensive wines or do you think they won't get the respect without sticking to the bottle?
