The 500 is cheap and fun and easier to use
Hands down the 1000 is way better sound quality and the ability to use a digital connection to say the pioneer djm1000 is excellent
however the cost puts it out of the hobby price range so If its for home use get the 500 (i sold mine for $250)
if you are using it in a club the 1000 far outclasses it and has a very noticable edge in sound quality |
