oh - yes - i had heard the name before but as its not open yet...out of sight out of mind! lol. weird things is i had heard they were not allowed to use outside promoters per their CUP (which is strange in and of itself).
Rich - yes Boris MD....Boris is signed to Bullitt so he opens a lot for those guys.
and Giant is promoting it... |

| Dr Boris is f-ing sick... His Noctornal set and Sharam opening were kick-ass.... I wonder if everyone down at UCLA Med Center know how much of a bad ass he really is. |

to be fair, dr. boris did play minimal techno during his set at MNS last year.
and yes it does suck that they're not allowing outside promoters for the venue. i've been chatting with Alex (who handles playhouse) and they do have a good reason for doing it.
but let's see how that goes... |

i know avalon likes to run all there stuff in house but still hire promoters but only for promotional stuff not event organizing |

from what i heard, it was part of the CUP (conditional use permit) the club agreed to with City of LA to open up the venue. The reasons behind that i have no idea....though obviously the guys involved directly with the club do. |
