Ableton GUI Error

Sometimes when I'm working in Ableton, menus and VST windows will suddenly become transparent. They still function as if they are open, but I can't see them. Only if I move my mouse over the menu options, thereby changing the highlight or refocus by clicking on the vst windows will they reappear. Although, some things still show transparent (menu option line separators for instance, since you can't highlight them.)
Anyone else have this problem? It's been doing this to me since I first got Ableton at version 7.0.1.
Would it be a video card issue? Never happens in any of my other programs, only Ableton. |

Are you sure you didn't just minimise the Ableton window? :p
If it's not that, then I have no idea as I have never encountered this problem! |

It should be interesting to see a screenshot of that.
I've been using live as well and I never had that kind of issue. |

quite possibly a display driver issue, could be a conflict that is specific to ableton. Try disabling you display driver and see if it still happens: right click my computer, manage, device manager on the left, expand display adapter on the right and right click on your driver, disable. you will need to restart, and you do the same but "enable" when you want to turn it back on. good luck |

I think is some kind of buggy performance with the VST you're using. I don't really believe that it could be a hardware issue since you're not getting any other complication than just see a 'floating interface'. Otherwise, you may be experiencing an application crash.
Reinstalling everything could help?
Oh, btw, there's another VST that got this abnormal behavior? |
