when you dream, do you ever have nightmares?? i haven't had a nightmare in a very long time, but seems like i have a recurring nightmare about once every year....here it is
it takes place at night, full moon is out, and i'm out in my yard at old house, scared to look around the corner because i know the grim reaper is around the corner....i always wake up from sleep if tried to look or attempt to corner the house, and have never seen the grim reaper. not sure what it means as i had a very healthy, drama and drug free:D childhood...
i've had this nightmare about 4-5 times now in the same amount of years....
oh i could have figured it out...this is my old house, and the my dog's house was at that coner of the house....and still is to this day, but the dog has been dead for about 5 yrs now...so maybe i have this nightmare ever since the dog died, knowing that doggy could not protect me... :conf:
so what are your nightmares about, that is if you feel like sharing???

i had a nightmare
but it wasnt as cool as urs
it was like a movie and it was hella real...
but lame as hell
think of it as a cross betweem starship troopers, saving private ryan, my daily activities, and the terrorist attacks of sep 11th

i have had this dream that i am at the beach with my mom and there is a huge tidle wave coming and we are trying to get away from it but there is a big wall of sand and we cant climb it cuz the sand just keeps falling...it's horrible..and the scariest is that my mom has had the SAME EXACT reoccurring dream! she was telling me about it and i interrupted her and finished the dream cuz i have had it several times too and her mouth just dropped to the floor...she was like, "omg! that is what MY dream is".....my mother and i are really close...so close it almost scares me sometimes..ppl that know us well always tell us that we have like esp and we are connected just because of various things that have happend with us..like weird coincindences, it's cool:)
i've also had a reoccurring nightmare as a child and it was that i am running around my house trying to get away from this witch (it's the witch from the movie sleeping beauty..she is WICKED looking!) and every room i run into she's there..like i run up the stairs and she's in my room, then i turn around to run downstairs and she's standing there too and im trapped! i had that dream like 4 or 5 times in my life when i was little....weird i just remembered that i hadnt thought about it in a long time..... |

most of my nightmares were as a child, but here are the ones I remember.
1) im on a huge hill overlooking a city in flames. Towers collapsin, streets in ruin. Im in a payphone booth trying to call my house in the city, but the line is dead. Godzilla comes up and hes the one who burned it all down, im mad, but hes the only one left, so I crawl onto his back and we head off
2) Im in a forest gazebo and im sitting with Dracula, the wolf man, and a mummy, and I want to run, but the forest is being patrolled by dinosaurs.
3)I m in the front yard. I get scared by something so I run to the lake in the back of my house. My moms skeleton is sitting sun bathing on the dock, and if you ve ever seen CRITTERS, the little fuzzy things that turn into a huge ball of fuzz and teeth ate her and then came after me and I ran to the house, but the door was locked.
All of these ended well because I was aware I was dreaming. All I had to do was blink. Thats it, blink, and I would come out of the dream. But the critters nightmare I sat there blinking saying to myself this is a dream, and I didnt wake up, and ive never been able to do it since. It sucks, because I used to be able to control my dreams perfectly. I wanted to dream about something? I orchestrated the entire night, it was incredible. But I lost something along the way, and I cant do it anymore...sigh |

all my nightmares dont make any sense but there are scary...
here is one that i had when i was about 13 years of age...
i was at the beach with my dad, the only people there were hot chicks with bikini's, then they all turned into vampires and they wanted to suck the blood out of my wrist, so im like "I GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS DREAM" and i transport myself into a dark alley, which one of my friends comes out with boxing gloves and beats the outta me, im like what are you doing? then he turns into a vampire and trys to bite my wrist, then im transported back to my house and my parents turn into vampires and i want them to live so i let them bite my wrist, but to counter the effect of blood loss (and so i dont turn into a vampire) i start eating saltine crackers...

yeah...i could blink and open my eyes and be good, but as i would fall back asleep, i would go straight back to the dream usually.

my last nightmare was:
i was stranded on a desert planet
nothing but weird creatures and this horrible eerie sound in the bkgrnd
ing scary, i mean with nobody u know and just a long horizon ahead, u wonder...will i ever return to civ?
or alternative
u wake up dead and realised ur bleeding!
ur best friend or whoever slept with u has just stabbed u to death!
actually the last was was a joke :D |

| usually nightmares ive had recently have been really intricit like the ones above, but they still scared the outta me, wot happens is i go to sleep, and after a while i feel like i wake up but cant move, sometimes, like when i was asleep on my sofa, my face had turned into the corner, so i cudnt breath and i cudnt wake up even though i knew i was asleep, and this other time, i dreamed there was a window over my bed and my mother was walking past, and i was trying to scream to her to wake me up coz i cudnt move, but no sound was coming out. it gets really freaky when i dream i wake up and go into the hall and its not frightening in the hall, but im just scared outta my wits, its really strange |

As I was a child I always had a terrible nightmare (no sense for outsiders but scary as )
I dreamed that I woke up at night to go to the toilet and when I try to get back to my room--walking through the hall-- I get sucked by an invincible power. I cant get forward, it keeps on sucking me back....
Really scary....
Another one was that I was trying to get out of my home. I first look through the windows, and I see clowns, but very scary ones. So I decide to escape through the basement. I open the door and I see them again. Everywhere I go I see those scary things.
I can't escape aaaaraghhh....
Another one was that we drive near a river, and when we have to go over the bridge, our brakes are ed up. So we make a very long jump over the river to get on a little piece of land. Well this jump lasts for hours in the dream, and just on the moment that we dont gonna make it, I wake up.

I hade a weird nightmare a few months ago! I was sitting with my ex girlfriend on a roof on a industry yard at night and just talked, then suddenly I fired a firework rocket in the air and it hited one of the big chimneys that belonged to the industry and it fell over us :D <-- weird
Then i've had those nightmares when u fall down from skyscrapes...I've heard that those kinds of nightmares are signs that tells you are going to commit suicide in the future :( *hope not* |
