Very simple question.

Ultra is a daytime festival right? Does it usually run like noon-10pm or something? Just want some clarification. And when do the main headliners usually come on?
drEamer
it ends at midnight both days.....headliners come on at all times of day...especially on the main stage....Tiesto will close friday, PVD will close saturday....10-12

Awesome and when does Ultra start on the 2 days? Was I right in thinking noon? So they kinda disburse the headliners then so Armin could play at like 4pm and then PVD closes at 10 on Saturday?

friday starts at 4, saturday at noon.......last year armin played a 90 min set from 4:30-6 if i remember right....im sure he will play before the Prodigy this year, and then Pvd will close

Something like 6-8 for armin, 8-10 for Prodigy, 10-12 for PVD

I believe Ultra is a Great Experience. I agree with so many of you....Yes there are long lines yes the port-a-poties really suck. But all in all Ultra is an awesome event that lets you listen and see some of the greatest electronic talent under one sky. Now of course for a two day period. I have been to every Ultra and since I love the music and the scene I go every year. No matter how hot, cold or wet it has been I have always walked out of there half deaf but in awe of all the amazing sounds, sirens and visuals I had experienced. Its not for everyone. I have had friends who have left Ultra because the drink line was too long. You are going to go through the motions of dehydration, or being soaked. But seriously it is soooo worth it.

is it possible to bring food/water in there ? It does say "no backpacks" but in a bag or something ?
thx !

If you bring a bag of any kind, prepare to be searched. And if you have food or water in your bag, they will discard it when they search your bag.

I understand that this event is not a favorite of everybody's for several reasons already mentioned. But I think the people that come into this thread have already decided to go to Ultra and telling us that the best thing to do is to not go doesn't really help anybody. We get your displeasure for Ultra, but if we're gonna go anyway, can you give us more tips for when we attend?

Thanks! :toocool:
