to each their own i guess. i don't know, but i would rather wait till my daughter knows how to spell properly before talking to her about sex

at the most superficial level, a gay guy looks like a man. a shemale looks like a woman.

as far as i'm concerned, yes, and they're not what i'm about.

so hypothetically someone could be a shemale unintentionally? (I think I may have seen this, but equally could have been a maleshe)

I'm not saying you should force it...but I mean...when they're potty training and stuff there's no reason why you can't talk about their anatomy and what it's for (using the proper language for it, too..none of that ing "pee pee" or "special place" ).

As soon as a child starts asking questions or exhibiting behaviour that indicates it's necessary, they should get the whole rundown, imo.

i've heard references to 'the birds and the bees' in all manner of media, but i've never heard the actual birds & bees story. someone explain what do birds and bees have to do with human sexuality plzkthx.

before tv, before books, the only rectally available porn was to watch birds and bees having intercourse. so basically the earliest form of sex education.

i doubt she'll be asking what are her privates for other than taking a piss when she's just 5, at least i hope not

You'd be surprised. With TV, internet, uncensored mouths, school it's pretty likely a kid at the age of 6-7 knows pretty much the basics of sex.
