jules...where is the resemblence to the techno of old?
no ...theres not really much difference from what is considered progressive house these days to "techno" from the little that i have heard
i downloaded and listened to a few sets and whilst i didnt mind some of the tracks the majority of it just sounded so boring that id prefer to be getting reamed by a fag at the Market*
* slight exageration |

lol @ the exaggeration.
i dunno - i went down to f4 probably 2 months or so ago and had a listen - a lot of what i heard i woulda called techno - was rolling and pumping and not the progressive/tech house stuff that so often is called techno nowdays
progressive has kinda divided into a coupla catergories. you got your tech/house prog stuff and then there is the trancier, ploddyier more melodic stuff.
i kinda think the latter type of prog (prolly a little more traditional style) is gunna go thru a boom pretty soon
so if my predictions are anything like with trance its about 4 years off :/ |
