MIKE:
January 2009, i just started to work on the new PUSH album.
After my personal "i feel trance again / comeback" ..i really feel i'm ready for it!
After 5 years, yep it's that long when "Electric Eclipse" came out, i'm very exited to pick up my most knows guise again, and i'm ready for it!After the "Universal Voice E.P." , which was actually a mini album, "Dream Designer" was more a crossover track and a try out to what kind of sound i wanna head at for the new album.
I did wrote some tracks in New York City, my second home, but i do work them out here in my studio in Antwerp / Belgium.
4 tracks are in mix down stage, including the new single due for february 23rd."Interference" comes with a club mix and a very exiting [B]Sean Tyas remix.[/B
It has the typical "back in time" Push feel over it.
Next week i start my official "Blogger" page where you can follow my dialy or weekly updates on the new album.
I told everyone already, my friends, my family, my kid, 2009 is gonna be a very exiting year!More and teasers tba soon...
Mike
Pretty exciting! I cant wait...MIKE will play the new single in the next Club Elite Sessions...I hope this single will be more succesfull than the massive and uderrated Dream Designer which was not playlisted at all (except some small radioshows). But I think the problem is in Club Elite label with their bad promotion of singles... ] |

word
iam lookin foward to hearin his typical "back in time" push feeling
thats what i miss...i understand m.i.k.e is tryin to evolve as an artist and his sound, but thats why he has different aliases imo
the push sound should not be changed, i honestly didnt like that universal voice ep
dream designer is alot better then those songs, but no where near what i hoped for
i spoke to mike in nov he even said 2009 is gonna be a big year
so iam lookin foward to hearing not just push, but whatever else he has instore |

Totally understandable, as far as I'm concerned. Even though the lead synth was somewhat reminiscent of The Legacy, the melody was very cheesy as well as the piano during the breakdown.
I hope Mike manages to bring back the edgier feel of his tracks. Otherwise I'm not interested. |

| If he creates a second Dream Designer this alias should be buried as quickly as possible. The Push sound shouldn't be used for unicorntrance. |

Dream Designer i did not like. I really loved Trance Indicator.. But it's al quite noisy though.
I mostly liked his tunes like Cosmonautica and Universal Nation, with a simple yet highly effective melody. Sometimes less is more :) |

I've heard some ty stuff from trance producers recently and dream designer wasnt all that ty,
I will say that his recent remixes like that of Armin in and out of love and Ferry's made of love are quite the catchy ones.
I won't hold a grudge and knock his productions, but I will be expecting some major tracks from this album
His recent work like Oasis of dreams and logic are tight tho |

I agree, especially the 8 Wonders Remix was worth listening to. The original was just ok. |

| i agree, "dream designer" was kind of a jip. and so have been a lot of other mike-productions recently, but... he has got the talent to produce mindblowing stuff as he has been doing the last 10 years so i'll give it a try once it hits the scene! :) |

| I used to like M.I.K.E. but i've realized how incredibly uninspired many of his productions have been the past five years or so. He uses, reuses and abuses all his own cliches and makes tons of utterly forgettable tracks. |
