Can anyone explain to me how you learn how a Graphical Equalizer works and how you know which frequencys are associated with treble or bass sounds :thepirate

bass=lower freqs
treble=higher
I dont know the exact principle but I guess it has smthn to do with boosting some freqs :) |

exactly right
if ur using winamp, fool around with the EQ presets to see which one gives the balance of sound u prefer...
personally i have winamp set to the "club" setting, which is normal bass and treble, slightly boosted midrange. but my global soundcard setting is for 100% treble boost and about 75% bass. Plus I have the bass dial on my sub at about 65% :D
sounds WICKED .. enough bass to move the floor on those rolling bass synths, not enough so that it's all u can hear... |

Yea, I hate the Winamp presets but out of them all I chose 'club' as well :clown:
I wish I had a mega sound card though... |
