what is the explanation you've been giving to your friend?
elFreak
i don't have time to type out the attempted explanation right now, but i will a bit later when i am not on the phone:p

it doesn't really matter anymore, as i said he is too dumb to risk my name by getting him a job...unless it is flipping burgers lol.

Oh so that's what they call "common sense" now LOL

They never taught us this as "Metrics Marketing." It was just part of any tactic you did to measure the success of it and understanding why it was successful.

i had to get it into his thick skull if he wanted an interview.

after 2 explanations and several links he actually still thought it was tied in with the metric system.

i love him, but what a dummy.

Gaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy bro
elFreak
meh..he might be dumb, but has always had my back. (and when i say back i mean anus)
chimera66
hm yes i do believe that is common sense if he doesn't understand marketing then perhaps he should do something else. if he's got good personality i would suggest selling something
elFreak
he does, and it is a sales position that relies on being metrics driven.

sales and marketing are inter related...i will just get him a job doing drywall i think.

chimera66
i meant actually going there and interacting with customers and selling. a big portion of my job is marketing but we don't actively "sell" per se.
zoogla
