| as usual I have no interest in really going to WMV...even if I could. I just hear some many more nightmare stories compared to great stories... and how expensive it is....sure it's an intense, great time but just not worth it for me. |

I also have tix for all 4 Beatport pool parties. I may get tix for the Leeky Tiki Yacht Party w/Lee Burridge.
There are so many other events that are enticing, but I'm waiting for everything to be announced before I decide. |

it's worth noting that if you change your mind on any popular party, you can always turn a profit by selling your ticket the day of for like 4x what you paid...better than deciding late when the presale price doubles :toothless |

There is definitely the potential to make some profit on event tix. But I don't wanna deal with the hassle of scalping tix when I could be partying instead :) |

my only bit of advice for WMC is go to the parties YOU want to go to, don't go to a party just b/c your friends are going and you don't really care for a particular dj or there is a party you really want to go to and can't get your friends to go. the last 2 years i've just bought tickets for parties i wanted to go to, and yes, buying presales does save a ton of $$$, and didn't worry about where everyone else was going.
there are always gonna be people you know at the parties you attend but even better you meet all kinds of new and fun people.
i always have a great time in miami and haven't had any horror stories to tell as some others have i guess. |

Nail on the head Sarah. Kitty, bongrips, drugs in general and buckets of alcohol to wash it all down. :p
As for the parties, presales do help, though the smaller parties I went to I never paid more than 20$ to get in, tickets are usually more useful for the big parties and clubs.
I'm glad that most of my friends are into the same music as me so we all end up at the same places. :)
Gonna be fun this year because I know 10x more people! |
