Is it safe to switch active studio monitors on and off from the power point instead of the switches on the back?
And other equipment such as firewire soundcards I guess. |

USE THE SWITCHES FIRST!!!!
Always power the monitors on last and always switch them off first. Of course, the absolute first thing should be to lower the volume of your soundcard/audio interface to absolute minimum.
Good habit to have to prevent any mishaps :) |

stuff that must be turned on/off in certain order is crap. stay away. u shouldnt have to think about it (what if a blink in the powernet?). i exploded my echo with my monitors on, they had no problems with it. the echo did tho but this seems to be a failure in the firewire power-technology. 4pins from now on. |
