no hate, just a laughable situation. the so-called event is just a name and a date, no location given or any idea of the pedigree of talent involved. it could just be local artists holding a shindig at a small hunting retreat in northern siberia. i question anyone who could have any kind of interest let alone excitement about this information or lack thereof without an ulterior motive, and among those who have posted here similarly has been implied in subtext that the OP is attempting to hype their own event or that of a friend. take for example coachella which has been a successful festival running for years with a consistent standard of artists on the lineup, has a pre-disclosed location, dates and some sensibly founded rumours for key headliners involved and i'm still not as excited as the OP. maybe i'm a cynic but i can give you more information about my birthday and that's only a few weeks before. |

all power to them, there's not many things i enjoy more than getting blasted in a field listening to live music (not to mention campfire malarkey) but speaking without hyperbolae there's nothing yet to confirm that this will be either local or good. hopefully someone will do us a solid and come through with a good festival event this summer, even a 1 or 2 day deal; i think that's something we can all agree on. |

| the promoters are different from destiny and this will be happening in Tweed, because one of the promoters is friends with one of the owners of Treadeau Park. Got this from a reliable source, somebody who is friends with one of the promoters if you need to know. It's happening in August i believe 15-18, there's a facebook group for it, search it up. |
