Yeah ppl can be really f'ed up... This is what pisses me off about the whole thing.. the arrogance and lack of respect of some fans.
We have a large South African flag and a small Porteguese flag on our porch. Earlier this week we found our South African flag lying on our front lawn with dog on top of it. I would whoop some serious ass if i ever caught em!
But yeah I'z got da FEVAH! Last night was crazy with all the porteguese celebrations in my neighbourhood. I now dred the craziness on Thursday if Italy wins :mad:. But, hey at least its one big party around here.

| I love the World Cup, too bad Poland is out of it, but my other favorite team, Brasil, is doing awesome. Can't wait till elimination round starts, thats when things really heat up! |

Argentina is out :( too bad, coz they really played well as a team, but in that group somebody had to stay. Sweden is always great in WC, i give these at least somewhere around 3rd place now :) Spain had an easy group Stylez, and they didn't really play that good, for wat they can show, but we'll see how they play now in round 2 :D Italy looks like she may stay behind lol |

well for me i cant wathc any games cos i gotta be at work by 6:45 everymorn or else the store is on a damn standstill...sorta
so i gotta get my 4 hours of sleep and the only hours i can sleep are 2-6
so i miss everything

well im not being anti poland but for all the polish people that made such a big hype that they would reach the finals, sorry props to my portuguese people who didnt say a word before the game...well i wont say that portugal rules as a soccer team either...their time will end soon....but france and argentina gettin out is a shocker...
anyway..hope this post hasnt caused any anger in anyone..i dont mean to..

I'm probably one of the few not in to the hype, lol.. I was rooting for my roots in China but that was like cheering for a spider struggling in a toilet, waiting to get flushed.. :o
and what's with all the violence associated with the world cup? some of these soccer zealots need to realize it's just a game.. I mean the beatings of the japanese people in Russia was just dumb.. and then some of the vandalism going on here.. :rolleyes: |

too bad Italy advanced, I really hoped they wouldn't... Italians are sooo cocky, Trapatonni said before the tournament that "noone will beat them and they are taking the cup" :rolleyes: :stongue: I really hate the type of football they play, soooo boring!! their whole strategy revolves around defence and breakaways...
oh well, at least we got spain, brazil and england to watch out for!

I agree It's pretty bad. Well, I hope that Russia beats Belgium, or else they'll wipe themselves of the face of the Earth. But it's crazy if you ask me. |
