Hey guys
Some friend sent me this link and he claims that this is like the Ti..is this true ?
I think its just and editor rather than TI technology

What makes the TI special?

It looks like those plugs just send/receive MIDI messages from the synths. So i guess, pretty similar.
No Left Turn
Those are considered to be "editors", but are essentially what "Total Integration" is based off of. You have the hardware unit and then the software interface for it that works through a USB cable (maybe firewire in the future).

I bought the Rekon VST Editor for my Nord Lead 2 years ago, but it never worked as advertised. It wouldn't work at all in Sonar or earlier versions of Cubase (because they do not have the capability send VST MIDI data out through external MIDI ports). I recall getting it partially working in Cubase Studio 4, but as I recall, it never worked as advertised. I'd check the forums of whatever DAW you use before giving your money away.

But, to answer your question, yes the Rekon VST Editors are supposed to accomplish the same general things that Access' TI does (i.e., control your hardware synths via a host-supported VST).

Rekon Virus editor is awesome..

..or well... if it would actually work.

It doesnt. This plugin just transfers MIDI data to and from the synthesizer.
Its suppose to save patches too.

I tried/bought it some months ago and everything worked fine here. It however didn't improve the workflow so it wasn't a worthy addition unfortunately.

The Rekon vst for Waldorf Pulse works fine. Makes it just like the TI, you have totall recall, can edit the synth from the vst, save/load patches. its all good.
