K, I get annoyed when you guys post with the sole intent to hurt someone else's feelings or with an obvious lack of consideration (as Jamie did with the cheating thread) for the feelings of others.
I didn't air anyone's dirty laundry. When I posted in that cheating thread, I didn't even know who she cheated on, I didn't know his TA name, I didn't know his real name, so it would have been a little difficult for me to air his laundry. What I knew came from one of her own friends who was kind of shocked that she made the thread considering one of the guys she cheated on was still posting on TA.
I criticized Jamie for making the thread. It just seemed so thoughtless. Melly jumped in acting like she knew it all and made comments that were blatently incorrect. I should have ignored her posts but instead, I responded. That was my mistake. It didn't matter if Mel didn't know what she was typing about. I shouldn't have posted back to her. So it was wrong of me to respond to Melly's posts and I apologized. It seemed to me that because of my responses, Jamie chose to air her dirty laundry which put Paul in the unpleasant position of responding...I took responsibility for creating the mess. I apologized.
That makes me self righteous? I don't think so. I don't think I'm perfect at all. I know I'm not. I do things wrong all the time. I'm okay with my imperfect self.
But yeah, I don't sit here and type stuff with the intent of hurting someone else's feelings. And I think people who do, suck. I think people who deliberately hurt the feelings of others suck irl and they suck on the internet. This doesn't mean I think I'm better than anyone. I don't. I don't think I'm better than anyone. I don't think anyone is better than I. I think we're all created equal. For whatever that's worth.
But, yeah, if all this makes me a self righteous cunt, oh well. Bite me. |
