welcome to life, dude.
everytime things seem to go my way, nowadays, i get leery of it. i don't celebrate the good things in life because they seem to have such a small impact or are fleeting in nature before a storm of bad things happen.
case in point:
partied in mardi gras for a week. had a good time. no stress. no work. no worries.
4 weeks later i'm in fected with mono. then my water heater dies. then i can't order the part because my throat is closed up and can't say "whirlpool water heater" over the phone. and it was easter. so i didn't shower for 6 days before the damn piece came in. then it was 2x as much to get a plumber to do it.
6 days of living in my own filth on my couch with mono. on top of the 4 weeks of hell mono put me through. time span? 5 weeks total. much longer than the 1 week of good-time partying.
bad example, i know. but its the first thing that comes to mind. |

bro just drink.. ur reminding me of chris from sopranos when he decided to give up drugs and alchol! we loved ed up tubular. there were prolly so many core news episodes that never even got aired because you didnt have the camera on. we miss that tubular |

i'll get back to booze in time. i'm abstaining from it for now. just so i can get my life back on track, get settled in to oklahoma.
I'm thinking around the summer time (whenever i see my next tornado. which ever comes first) i'll be back and good and comfortable to have a few brewskies. or a few glasses of wine. either way, i might stay off the hard stuff for a much longer time frame. |
