just got back ... i went there to buy my ticket; staff was nice. The place looked clean; they were preparing the coat check (seems like a nightmare!)
I`m going alone .. really sucks`; I hope I will meet some of you all there !! I`ll be wearing a canda goose coat and a red ``tuque`` .
PM if some of you guys need a lift or want to catch a beer !! |

I had fun a lot!
Just few negative points to check please.
-35$ is too expensive, 20-25$ would be perfect.
-Better quality speakers,I saw back speakers,sound better than dusty kid event,but wasn't that great.
-Don't put strong light on the stage to blind people in front.
-make start your guest dj at midnight,12h30 max.
For the rest,great party for me! |

| Sorry to hear that guys... went to see dubfire on friday night at heaven in ottawa and he played for 2 and a half hours... and if I may say so myself, he destroyeeeed the place, really good times |

It was Produkt who rented the sound and it was not the Théâtre TELUS sound. The Théâtre is not suited like a dancing club and the sound is installed for shows (front loaded) with state of the art L-Accoustic sound.
As for the ticket price, I can take the defence of Produkt, Dubfire is expensive and the breakeven was over 900 people already, so how you think it's possible to breakeven at 20-25$? DJ'S are too expensive, ''point final''! |

thanks it's very nice from you to explain the situation. They should rent better speakers and subs. It's not only me who realised that. International dj's ,yes I know they're expensive. I don't know how then, Tribe hyperclub is going well with a small club with bottle sales. Telus should push that too,alcool pay a lot like sponsors,but you know that i'm sure.
But trust me, I loved my night,it's just some points to fix , constructive stuffs! |
