anyway, the track sounds good :) in my opinion, it's far from the typical 'dutch style' which tends to be very progressive and experimental these days. Every element flows pretty well in this track but i feel there's a lack of drive btw.

I liked that lead synth, catchy melody
I didn't like:
the transitions (no indications whatsoever on all changes)
the percs (just a kick? no hats or anything)
the effects (there are none?)
the vocal (they are an abbomination :nervous: )
structure can be more interesting as well

I would add better vocals or remove them.
There's very sparse percussion and not much effects on the instruments.
I would add more percussion and effects.
The lead synth is not bad, but not really exciting either, rather standard and predictable.
I didn't like the weird melodies in the beginning, middle and end at first, but now i think they add to the tracks.
I disagree with Sh!fty on the transitions, it can be refreshing to get unexpected transitions, but guide people a bit on some occasions.
Anyway, it sounds promising, but a lot of work needs to be done. |
