hey guys,
how do i make this kind of voice effect?

please see this youtube video, and hear the first 2 seconds, of how her voice fades in. How can I do that to a voice? I tried a lot of reverb etc but doesnt seem to get it just right.

- Copy a clip of the first word/syllable to another track.

- Reverse the new clip.

- Add a huge reverb - make the size of the reverb tail approximately how long you want the fade-in to last.

- Bounce it to a new clip.

- Reverse the new clip and nudge it into place.

Took me a sec to understand what you were describing....
In the video, I don't think the voice is fading in, as you say. I think its some other sound that was tacked on. Some tricks were done with it, I'm not sure what, but I do not think that the sample getting used is vocals.

Whenever anyone uses the words voice and fade in the same sentence, the forum should automatically just search for the other ten threads from the last 4 months.
