Anyone else have this problem with FL (Or other DAW)

So Im getting ready to start a new remix. And I get the pack and all I really want to use is the vocals. So I put it into FL and I find out the the BPM is 126 which is so kindly labled on the file. But 126 is WAYYY to slow for me so really I want to push it up to 130 or 132. Normally FL Time stretches just fine and I can start working on writing the music. But this time is seems like FL is not even trying to attempt to stretch it. It always sounds like its staying in 126. This has only happened to me 3 or 4 other times and I just can't seem to find out whats wrong.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

have you tried autodetect yet? that's built into fl.normally this works quite well then all that's left is some minor tweeking.

I have and it still doesn't seem to work. For some reason FL wants to think the BPM is around 66.7. Everything is off beat when I try that.

so just to recap when you set the speed of the track you want to use, lets say around 130bpm. and then use the sample what do you do to get the correct tempo?

and does the same thing happen when you make different tracks with different samples?

Ok, Most of the time when I get a sample All I have to do is change the tempo and FL auto stretches its self the sample to fit whatever I set it to.

But for some samples (most of the time vocals) It doesn't seem to want to fit the tempo I set. It doesn't happen all the time.

ok well i am afraid this is just to do with playing around with it until i does fit. and def more so when it comes to vocals lol. play the saple on c5 in piano roll now remember if you move it up the key bord i it will get faster and by lowering it again will make things slower.

this will help tweak it a wee bit so it fits better.also try fl slicer it has a tempo slider that can alter the speed and pitch also. :D
