I'm trying to figure something out. Say I make a remix/mash-up (which I'm about done with) and say it is something with a good potential, what are (if any) rights do I have? The mash up is all just clips of 2 tracks, interlaced.
Also, what if I want to re-make a classic trance tune - (yes, I know the resurection fad is all the rage now) - do I have any rights on it?
How does something go from being a bootleg to being an actual release? Say the track had a potential and I want to send it out to some jocs to give it a spin (read: your ASOT, GDJB, MI MFBP, Vonyc Sessions, etc) - how do I ensure someone doesn't take credit for it? |
