lol, it may sound odd, but that's one of the best descriptions I could use to accurately depict how felt on Friday...actually I take that back, how I was feeling the entire weekend! (minus a few of Stefan's tribal interludes, which were also awesome) :D

MY NYC REVIEW

Alright I'm gonna try to keep this short n sweet!

The trip actually started off on a very SOUR note, I forgot my ing passport in Hamilton so Sarah and I had to bus back, cab back to the house, cab back to the bus terminal, bus to Toronto and catch the next bus to NYC....I think we spent a good 14hrs on the bus that day :nervous:

Got to NYC around 10:30pm on Thurs and loved the weather - no snow on the ground and was around 2*C, what a change from the weather we've been getting up here!

Settled in and pretty much chatted till 3am, had a few drinks nothing too wild ;)

On Friday we met up with V-Vaughn's brother who's a really down to earth guy, took us on a lil tour around to the Brooklyn Bridge and then we decided to check out - it's absolutely HUGE, like 40 blocks or so. Lots of things to do out on the streets, it would take WEEKS to get through everything.

Got ready for Pacha and on our way we were. They were super organized at the door...had a line for advanced tickets, VIP holders, general admission etc each flowed really smoothly.

The security and staff were really down to earth but still kept their duties in check. The security pat-down was stringent, no gum!
Got into the club and the first thing I noticed was the big red cherry

The sound system was phenomenal, it was perfectly tuned! Nothing ear piercing, not too loud not too soft, bass wasn't rumbling the boards like at guv - it was simply put, PERFECT!
The floor I was told was very similar to Sonic's hardwood floor which I really enjoyed dancing on, so nice to have that feeling under you!

Even though I'm drifting away from trance more and more, this was the 6th time I've seen Markus and everytime he's played here it's been MORE than good, in fact he's played some of the best trance I've ever heard so far.

His set was..........

PRIMO. It was bliss, it was ing DARK and ...it was SCHULZ at his absolute best. It was the best set I've ever heard him lay down, some of his tunes were disgustingly techy
Towards the end he played the trance we all wanted to hear...perspective space...mmmm

Sketch factor was pretty good, some pretty mangled skasians - saw one get thrown down the patio stairs and out the door LOL

Ok this is getting long...
continue later

Lazer eyes Vince!

Some really good glowsticking right after Stoneface & Terminal finished.

This is sik. The guy's using ultra's which only last like 10minutes, but are super bright.

There used to be a glowsticking crew in NY that always use ultras and can all do crazy moves like that. They do these things at certain clubs in NY. I used to be big into this when I first got into the scene and used to know so much about it haha, good times.

I love CP. If you go in to the Great Lawn you can see the entire 360 view of the skyline. It goes from 59th street to 110th street :)

love the pics guys!! <3

Time for my review :D

To be honest the night before the trip I wasn't really hyped up to go or anything, especially the 10 hour bus ride. I stayed up all night, packed up at 4:30 AM and took a cab at 5 am to Kipling station. I was already grumpy the whole day.. Right when we got to NYC I already felt a little bit more energetic cause we're finally here and also cause of Veronica's little encounters with turnstiles, stairs, and metro pass machines lol.

Friday night went to Pacha for Markus Schulz. The sound system in the club was awesome, wasn't too loud or anything. Markus played such an amazing set, out of about eight times I've seen him, that set is tied with Armada night in Kool Haus so whoever was there that night would know to what degree how good he was.. Oh yeah got to party with Kelly!!! for a minute :( Where's that skasians picture? lol

Saturday night Stoneface & Terminal @ Love. The entrance is by far the sketchiest entrance ever, we got dropped off in the middle of a suburban area and the only way we found the club was from the smokers standing outside the barber shop at midnight. The atmosphere had an underground rave feel to it. It was really hot, dark, and humid. The lighting was all done manually (A girl shinning a green laser at the disco ball lol) I was really impressed with Stoneface & Terminal's set they played really well and with so much energy..

Overall this was probably the best weekend I've ever had. So much fun, so much memories, and so many stories. Thanks to Sarah, Stefan, Bryan for being part of this legendary weekend :D And special thanks to Veronica, cause without her this wouldn't have happened!

Highlights:

- Stefan's shenanigans ;)
- Veronica vs Turnstiles
- Stretch Limo ride
- Going downstairs for a fire alarm and realizing we have a pizza baking in the oven.
- Brooklyn Bridge
- Best Markus set ever!
- Awesome lightshows lol
- Sketchy subway patrons (Oh shieeeet... Oh Shieeet)

P.S. Thank god for Bengay (eh Veronica ;) lol) and Tylenol 3s :D
P.P.S. American beer SUCKS!

The whole trip in one shot... (Gonna frame this picture probably over the weekend)
