Last year Tom Middleton Feat. Amba - Shinkansen (The Odyssey) was nominated, but didn't get past the first round.
Though, I guess that's not exactly a house track either. :( |

The field it was against I thought was pretty weak too, I thought it had the TOTY in the bag. Considering the track is damn near an instant classic (IMO). Was quite surprised at the early bump.
EDIT: I remember Adam Freeland - Silver Lake Pills (Gui Borrato Remix) was nominated as well. Only other track on that list from last year's awards that I thought was deserving of the nomination. That one I think was bumped in the second round. |

I'm happy to see Vibrasphere winning this thing. I was afraid that the two versions of Autumn Lights would eat the votes from each other (I voted for Oliver Prime Remix) but it still gained enough votes. Not too bad choice actually. Autumn Lights was my clear favorite from the final tracks and not too many tracks tops it in my personal 2008-list.
What is it with Walk The Edge? I have tried to listen some uplifting-stuff for all the year and for sure I have heard that track too couple of times but I don't have a clue what that track is. :toothless |

| that's great, finally a good artist takes toty. Maybe it wasn't as good as tracks in previous years but since none of that mattered, the best track won. |
