really enjoying their stuff lately

nice deep/epic almost platypus feel to a lot of their work lately - proper techy edge, lush progressive pads and nice oldskool sounding trancey leads (in proper moderation)....

thoughts?

Solarity - Codename Crimson (Soliquid Remix) is a tune.

Point me towards these Platipus-like tunes :P

YES! for quite a while now... superb producer out of hungary. The Mat Zo remix of "Music Is For Rich People" is mint... as are "Leave Me Alone" and "Piknic Bugz".

Yeah, I remember hearing his guest mix on TATW and coming off pretty impressed. One of the more original producers, combines elements of trance, tech-house, and glitchy electro.
miamitranceman
Yeah great stuff.

Soliquid is pretty hit or miss for me. They seem to be pretty versatile, a lot of their stuff doesn't sound anything alike imo.

Paradox Lost
Soliquid is one guy (David Biczok).

Really solid and fairly consistent producer, although some of his more straightforward Prog productions sound somewhat derivative.

So yeah, hit or miss for me, but his hits far outshine the 'meh' status of his misses.

Really loving:

I cannot get enough of this, been on my ipod for ages. The rising pad in the breakdown that is laid straight over the bassline:crazy:

Love Soliquid.

Special note to the Soliquid remix of Jonas Steur - Why Work When You Can Play.

Umek - Center of gravity (Soliquid mix)
