criticism.

i just want an opinion. =X please?

It's cute.

Good start.

The Delay Lama (or whatever that monkish sounding thing with the formant alteration going on) could use a lot of tightening to fit it in line with the rest of the instruments. That's the harshest thing I could say about it, though.

i just learned how to use the mixer. better?
EddieZilker
Yes...

Better. I like the stutter edits on the lead. The more prominently mixed Delay Lama still sounds a little disconnected from the rest of the mix - but I liked what it was doing, there, all-the-same. Just given the structured nature of the arrangement, I thought the could have been a little tighter, but it's not killing the track, either - just a thought.

I hope you'll develop this track, further.

awesome =) thanks again dude, you mean i should work on the transitions? one of my friends told me it was really cool, but i switched from one musical idea to the next quickly. would you say thats accurate? cuz i understood

Transitions were fine. Personally, I didn't have any problems following your changes, at all.

I'm referring more to the way the Delay Lama sits in the mix with the rest of the instruments. You have a good grasp for making interesting poly-rhythms with parts that jump in and out of unison with one another. The Delay Lama seemed like it was trying to play the game, if you get my drift, but didn't know all of the rules.

understood, well said. ill try to keep the voice ona little more syncapated, and then meet up in line with the other riffs before the transitions

how bout now?

by the way this is among my first 5 songs ever made on fruity loops studio. i started maybe 2 months ago, dabbling here and there.
but people are complimenting my stuff so its promising.
infact i put my my 3rd and 4th song just messing around with presets not knowing how to use the mixer and a chinese wholesale electronics distributor wants me to make some more songs so he can license it and buy an album. not for much, but hey thats a huge compliment in my eyes and i want to play with this stuff some more.
