I guess the guy saying about running time didn't want him to continue by offending the Israelis.

Oh and i agree, horrible translator. She kept trying saying "Barbarian" and in my mind i'm completing the word mentioning to myself "hurry with it".

What a stupid, stupid man... :haha:

And Peres is not the Israeli prime minister, he's the president.

everyone should watch the entire thing if you haven't already.

Erdogan had talks with Olmert 4 days before the invasion and felt he was shorthanded and deceived, it was a little personal.

with the timing, it wasnt as exaggerated as he claimed but both erdogan and the arab league secretary general were allowed 15-16 minutes or so, with secretary general moussa being told to stop because of timing restraints. then Peres got to finish off with about 21 minutes without interruption.

Peres's main contradiction was that he was going on about only dealing with democracy and democratic values earlier on in the speech, saying it would never consider dealing with Hamas.

later on he praises Mubarak in the highest of all appraisals for his role in the middle east.

I am just watching the full video, and Simon Peres says that the problem with Middle East (ME) is that the Iranian intention to govern the ME. Well you Simon, you want to govern the ME? Or should I say dictate the ME? Iran should govern the ME, noone else is fit.

Newsflash from yesterday - the two men had already "bridged" their differences. :toothless He said something along the lines of not being able to get his message across and of Peres not hearing what he said ;) If you buy that bull.

Nothing but a public image booster in front of Islamic supporters. I think. Or a serious hatred of Israel.

tathi
good to finally here a world leader calling out the government of Israel for its shameless atrocities :)
