Konami's Bemani series has to be one of the most original series of games ever to be made. (Games: Dance Dance Revolution, Para Para Paradise, Beatmania IIDX)
Wolfenstein 3D was the greatest game ever, and the original FPS.
Uunga Boonga is the MOST ORIGINAL GAME EVAR! (The premise of the game is you poke someone... in the ass...)
Rez also comes close to being the most original game ever... |

Jet Grind Radio is very original. Started the whole cel-shading craze (wasn't first, but it was the one that popularized it).
Eternal Darkness...also a very original concept. |

oh my god, I remember Nights: Into Dreams for saturn. i LOVED that game, I still have the soundtrack from that game somewhere.
Gotta admitt, Jet Set Radio/Future are both awesome games and was a very original idea. Parasite Eve :D.. it was very different from anything Square has ever done. The whole Bemani series too :D:D. |
