Hey man, I'm not saying he wasn't the best they had at the time. I'm saying that no matter who they put in that uniform, short of Wayne himself during that era, couldn't have won.
Largely b/c Potvin was in net. Also, b/c the Leafs are cursed. lulz.
Edit: & you're damn right it was Wayne. Any man who's got the presence of mind to use Dave Ellett's skate to bank the puck in off of when the was no other King within 20 feet of the net deserves to win. |
