Aniversário. We use the same word for both occasions.
So, if you wanted to congratulate someone for their 5-year wedding anniversary, all you had to say is: "Feliz aniversário de (5 anos de) casamento" (literally: "Happy Anniversary of (5 years of) wedding/marriage", where you can simply omit for politeness how many years have elapsed since the poor sap made the most regrettable decision of his life :p). We use the same word for marriage and wedding, by the way.
It actually took me a while to understand why it wasn't the same in other languages. After all, if a year has passed, that's still an anni(year)vers(turn)ary to me :p |
