i find it hard to break my trance habits and ruin the grove my techno tracks. plan a few collabss to get me in the proper flow of the techno.
yea his track is quality id use that in my sets.
anyone else wana collab i use cubase sx 3. |

I've been focussing on techier sounds since 2007 or so, but still struggling to get those sounds happening. I'm getting better though:p |

Well that just shows how ignorant you are.
Its a very broad genre these days, you should have a look at it more. I used to think the same thing, but I listen to more techno than trance now, because thats where the interesting stuff's happening. I started with pretty melodic stuff like joris voorn, Ellen Allien, trentemoller... Who are more tech house, but it goes to show how broad it all is... Actually, the first techno I ever fell in love with was Jeff Mills... But I just thought of it as old school dance music more than "techno" as such. I know better now:p
DJ alfi, I wouldn't really call that techno TBH... Its a bit more hard dance or hard house maybe? Just my 2 cents, I could be wrong completely:) |

well i'll give my 2 cents worth in dong a collab.
Ableton is my Daw.
So maybe we should have a little comp between daw systems so that everyone can collab in writing a tech song.
never know it might be a good laugh. |

| Im up for making a colab song...only thing is i know alot of people have very different ideas so coming to one final song would take forever! maybe if we all decide on one loop/sample and then make a song out of it each and share...Kinda like a remix contest ...but from scratch! |
