open bar are just usually "well-dirnks and beers"
ex: vodka cranberries, vodka sodas, whiskey and cokes...
usually using the cheaper alcohols. if you try ordering a long island, the bartender in the honey room will usually tell you that its not part of of the open bar. |

sucks last open bar event in SF I attended had the goose as the option available.
misleading fliers getting ones hopes up and then tearing them down. yay on free beer and well drinks, but boo on misleading info. |

Anthony Attalla is opening from 12-1 (don't miss that ;)), Lee goes on after that, then BT and then AA again til 7am. I'm guessing that Lee's set in the main room will be somewhat short and he'll move to another area.

so if its only going to be wells and beers then advertise it as wells and beers, thus not misleading to try and get more people out to their show perhaps...
free well drinks i would pass on at this stage in life, maybe when i was an underage college kid, but those days have come and gone. |
