Rear Projection TV's = What does it mean when the screen shows blue only....?

| i know its ed but what part of the actual TV causes it to go completely blue? is it something that can be fairly easy to get fixed or bin job? |

if it's doing it with normal TV's then one of the tubes is dead in which case you can buy a plasma for less than it will cost to fix.
If it's just doing it with DVD's it may a dodge component lead. |

It could be something simple and easy on the Blue CRT drive board gone wrong driving it too hard and bright to subdue all other colours.
Need a bit more info. Like do you have diagonal lines across the screen? On screen display etc available or not? Can you at least see some faint washed images of the broadcast etc on the screen, is there sound and the brand of the TV would help. |
