As musicians ourselves, we understand the blood, sweat, and tears involved in the art and craft of music. Usually this results in a pretty supportive environment where we try to be positive, helpful, open minded, and constructive. Un-constructive, jealousy-driven feedback is pretty rare in normal circumstances, I've noticed. Rarely, if ever, have I really seen that style of response when I try to recall the dance music online producer community, in normal circumstances. It's counter to the typical mindset of admiration of others' work, and the subsequent drive to improve our own game in response.
So why clown on this guy now, all that said? Because this isn't normal; Not every day do we come upon someone trying to jack another artist's , posture to take the credit for himself unduly, or make himself out to be something he's not. It belittles other musicians' genuine effort and achievements, and misrepresents himself in a boldfaced lie to everyone else. Very self centered and dishonest.
So I wouldn't exactly say we're jealous.

I think his general perspective is, negative/constructive comments are pure jealousy. As per his own track thread. :)
